The correct foundation box for the CAME Frog Plus (FROG-PM4 and FROG-PM6) series is the CAME FROG-PC.

Compatibility: Specifically engineered for the “Plus” series motors (FROG-PM4 and FROG-PM6). It is not compatible with standard CAME Frog motors (which use the FROG-BN/FROG-BI series).
Construction: Made from robust steel with a cataphoresis treatment to provide high resistance to corrosion and environmental wear.
Included Components: The box is supplied as a complete kit, including:
- The foundation casing and lid.
- Unlocking/release hooking lever.
- Gate securing bracket/arm.
- Screw for adjusting the opening limit point (mechanical stop).

Drainage is Mandatory: Because this is an underground installation, the longevity of your FROG-PM4/PM6 motor is almost entirely dependent on the quality of the drainage. You must ensure a proper gravel soakaway or professional drainage system is installed at the bottom of the FROG-PC box to prevent the motor from sitting in standing water.
Alignment: Ensure the foundation box is perfectly level and aligned with the gate hinge axis before cementing it into the ground. Misalignment will cause excessive stress on the motor and lead to premature failure.
Do Not Interchange: Be careful not to confuse the FROG-PC with the FROG-BI or FROG-BN boxes. The latter are designed for the standard (non-Plus) residential Frog motors and will not fit the larger PM-series gearmotors.
